Individual Intensives 
Intensives are offered on a consulting basis and designed for women outside of Denver who are already working with a primary therapist. Intensives are as they imply, intense. They are not recommended for women who have no local support. A woman’s primary therapist must be informed and in agreement that an intensive with Janelle is in the woman’s best interest. The woman must be willing to sign a Release form, allowing her primary therapist to speak to Janelle and allowing Janelle to speak to her primary therapist prior to scheduling an intensive. 

Intensives usually involve 3-4 hours of therapy per day, spanning across 1-5 days. The Intensive is customized based on each woman’s need and treatment goals. Janelle relies on a variety of methods and techniques in her counseling including experiential and trauma reprocessing techniques and healing prayer. It is recommended that the woman’s entire time in Denver be set aside for consultation and outside homework activities, such as reading and journaling exercises. Each client is required to fill out Janelle's intake forms and complete a full psychological assessment (involving psychological testing and a fee of $175). Janelle's consulting fee is $125 per 50 minute session.

Each woman is required to travel to the Denver area and pay for all transportation, food, and lodging expenses in addition to the above fees. For a Travel Document that contains information on local hotels, transportation and detailed directions to Janelle's office [click here].

The first step in scheduling an intensive is to call Janelle's office at 303.429.2100 to schedule a short interview call with Janelle. Once it has been determined that an intensive is viable, you and she will schedule the actual dates and times. Her office will then mail out the intake forms and psychological assessments. All forms and assessments, together with payment for the psychological testing ($175) and payment for the first two sessions of Janelle's consulting fees ($250 - making it a total of $425) must be received by Janelle at least three weeks prior to the beginning of the intensive. This gives Janelle time to score and review all assessments and forms. 
       
Full payment on the balance due for the intensive must be made on the final day. Upon completion of an intensive, a woman's primary therapist may call Janelle's office to schedule a 15 minute consultation with Janelle - free of charge. Janelle will also forward the results of all psychological assessments if requested by the primary therapist.

Telephone and Office Consultations 
Telephone or office consultations are also available to women who want to speak to Janelle or one of her associates on a consulting basis. Consultation appointments can be scheduled for 25 minutes minimum, up to two hours on the phone or in Janelle’s office. Prepayment using a major credit card is required. Each woman is responsible for all long distance charges.

To schedule a consultation, please call 303.429.2100. Janelle and her associates are in the Mountain Standard Time zone. When scheduling, you will be asked to provide the phone number at which Janelle will call at the time of the scheduled consultation. Once a consultation is scheduled, payment may be made by mailing a check to Janelle's office or using the below PayPal button. Janelle will initiate the consultation call by phoning your number. You will then immediately call Janelle back at her specified phone number.

Experiential Retreats and Conferences
Janelle hopes to host experiential retreats for women seeking greater wholeness in the near future.  All retreats will be held in her office. Presently, Janelle offers a retreat for mothers of lesbian daughters or daughters in conflict with their same-sex attraction. Insurance Claims
To determine whether your insurance policy will cover any of Janelle Hallman & Associates' services, you will need to contact your benefits department and ask whether they cover mental health services. You will then want to ask if they cover an out-of-network provider who is an MA level licensed professional counselor (LPC) in the state of Colorado. Janelle Hallman & Associates do not provide managed care, which means, Janelle will not manage your insurance claims and reimbursements. However, if requested, Janelle Hallman & Associates will provide you with an Invoice/receipt for all payments made to her for counseling services. This invoice can then be directly submitted to your insurance provider. If your insurance company covers services (individual counseling, consultation, telephone therapy, or psychological testing), they will reimburse you directly based on their predetermined customary percentage. Janelle Hallman & Associates requires payment for all services at the time the service is rendered.
