Dr. Janelle Hallman is a Licensed Professional Counselor in private practice with an office on the north and south side of the Denver Metro area. She has had the joy of sitting with many very special men and women over the years. She is a great listener, always authentic, and always ready to see the gold in each person.

She is also skilled in gently facilitating growth and healing in a way that allows her clients to remain stabilized while courageously facing and processing many difficult and painful emotions or new insights. Besides her love of sitting with men and women in the counseling office, she is also passionate about supervising new counselors working toward licensure and consulting other professionals. Dr. Hallman offers individual counseling, counseling intensives, supervision and consultation groups and professional consultations.

She obtained a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision as a means to provide even greater oversight and management of her practice as well as supplement her credentials for academic teaching. She serves as an Adjunct Professor at Denver Seminary and has been a regular presenter at a variety of professional mental health workshops and conferences. She has also spoken extensively at conferences designed for lay audiences and clergy.

Additionally, based on Janelle’s three decades of clinical experience and expertise, she is also equipped to facilitate life changing retreats and workshops, provide individual coaching, and develop and lead transformational workshops and personal growth groups. This is presently being done through Desert Hope. She is an educator, writer and dynamic speaker on issues related to the human condition, redemption, and healing and wholeness, in general. Her passion is to share insights about God, life and the human experience in a way that speaks to some of the deepest needs and realities of all people.
